Virtual Andrew

Virtual Andrew provides remote access to a number of software titles from your Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android device. Use Virtual Andrew when software is not available for download or cannot be run on your computer. 

The virtual computing lab environment titled CMU vLab is available to all CMU affiliates. You may see additional options based on your college or course registration. If this is the case, you will receive a direct communication regarding this access, including expectations for use.

Software Restrictions

Software applications cannot be installed on Virtual Andrew. Faculty members can request additional software for student assignments and projects.

Access Virtual Andrew

Note: Adobe Creative Cloud is available on Virtual Andrew to faculty, staff, and students assigned a Creative Cloud license. If you do not have an active license,  Adobe Creative Cloud is available free of charge in computer labs.
