The National Science Foundation awarded Yang Cai a grant for the project, " Privacy Algorithms for Human Imaging," starting the fiscal year 2007.

 

Cylab faculty and founder of AmI Lab, Yang Cai was a guest editor of the special issue of "Ambient Intelligence" in International Journal of Human-Computer Studies, Volume 65, Issue 5, 1 May, 2007, published by Elsevier. The special issue was listed on the ScienceDirect's Top 25 in June, 2007. [View here]

 

Springer has approved the book proposal, "Digital Humans", edited by Yang Cai, to be published as Lecture Notes of Computer Science and Lecture Notes of Bioinformatics, in summer of 2007.

 

"Instinctive Computing" by Yang Cai to be published by Springer in summer 2007. He was also invited chapter in the book "Human Computing", which is edited by Maja Pantic, Alex Pentland and Thomas Wong. [View here]

Professor Chris Clifton at Purdue University used our NASA-sponsored project publications as teaching materials. In his class CS 590D - Data Mining, students reviewed the papers "Spatiotemporal Data Mining for Monitoring Ocean Objects" and "Sensory Stream Data Mining on Chip." [View here]
