Mission
The mission of Instinctive Computing Lab (ICL) is to design pattern recognition algorithms for solving real-world problems. Our current research areas include videometrics and visualization. The related applications include video forensics, information retrieving, smart buildings, security and privacy.
Dynamics
CERT and ICL have formed a research partnership for visual forensics.
Professor Kevin Warwick from University of Reading, UK joined the advisory board of Instinctive Computing Lab.
Springer has approved to publish the post-proceedings of International Workshop on Instinctive Computing as a Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence, Volume 5987, in early 2010, edited by Yang Cai.
Yang Cai participated rock art archeology fieldwork in Valcamonica, Italy, in July, 2009
