Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentations
If you register for an oral presentation, you will be assigned a 15-minute timeslot. Your presentation should last approximately 10 minutes, with the remaining 5 meant for questions and discussion. Computers with projection will be available for all oral presentations.

Poster Presentations
On the day of the Symposium, you will be given an easel and a 3'x4' piece of foam board and push pins. You will have time to set up your poster the morning of the Symposium, and you are expected to take it down after the Closing Reception. We will assign you a time to stand with your poster and answer questions.

Visual Arts Presentations
If you register for a visual art presentation, you will be assigned a small area in which to display your 2-D or 3-D works. After you have registered, Lisa Everett will contact you to discuss your space requirements.

Performing Arts Presentations
All performances will occur in McConomy Auditorium. Please let us know how much time you will need (1 hour max) and if you require any special equipment.
