Ticket Sales Agreement
The University Center Information Desk provides a ticket selling service for organizations requiring assistance with the sale of their event tickets. In order for us to provide this service efficiently and effectively, the following terms and conditions must be adhered to:
- A representative from the sponsoring organization must meet with a member of the University Center Administrative staff at least one week prior to the sale of tickets unless other arrangements have been made.
- The sponsoring organization must inform the UC Office if the UC Information Desk’s name is used in any of its publicity material.
- The sponsoring organization must complete the Event Fact Sheet on the reverse. The UC Info Desk will not handle any signups or hand out any event material at the point of sale. Our focus is solely on ticket sales. Any other accompanying requirements with the sale shall be handled by your organization.
- All tickets and information must be given to the UC Office at least 48 hours before the tickets go on sale. All tickets must be numbered sequentially.
- The tickets must bear the following information: Organization name, event name, date, time, location and ticket price.
- Although efforts will be made to secure the tickets when they are in the UC Office, the UC Office will not assume nor bear any responsibility for missing or stolen tickets.
- The UC Office accepts only cash or check payments and will take full responsibility for the monies collected from the sale of the tickets. All tickets priced at $15 or above must be paid for with a check.
- The money from the sale of the tickets will be given to Student Activities for direct deposit into the organization’s account.
The information desk will NOT refund any money for tickets people want to return. This must be done by the organization.
- The organization must inform the UC Office immediately when there are eventchanges (eg date, time, location) and other matters related to the ticket sales at the UC info desk.
- The UC Office reserves the right to terminate the sale of tickets if the event is questionable, bias or prejudicial in nature and or content.
- The UC Office reserves the right to make changes to this agreement as it deems fit without prior notice.
