Recycling Center

The Cohon University Center is proud to host a recycling center in the Green Room across from McConomy Auditorium.

Batteries are no longer accepted for recycling at the Information Desk. Consumer batteries should be recycled in the Green Room, in a clear tube next to the printer cartridge box.

  • Plastics #1-5 (PETE, HDPE, PVC, LDPE, PP)*
  • Glass (unbroken)*
  • Cans (aluminum and steel)
  • Transparencies
  • CDs & jewel cases
  • Unwaxed cardboard
  • Newsprint
  • Office paper (including envelopes, folders, and carbonless paper)
  • Consumer batteries
  • Printer cartridges (toner and ink)
  • Athletic shoes

*Lids may be recycled with bottles
