D'WAYNE has spent his career designing shoes for premier athletes like Carmelo Anthony, Derek Jeter, and Roy Jones Jr. Last year he founded his own footwear design program, PENSOLE, which is the first of its kind at the university level. A portfolio review will follow his talk.

ELLIOTT co-founded the first ever college accredited course dedicated to sneaker culture with his classmate Jesse Chorng in the spring of 2008. They collaborated with Reebok on creating 101 pairs of a CMU inspired Reverse Jam. He also is the co-founder of his own clothing brand vitaminTHICK with other fellow classmate Andrew Shedd. Elliott has pioneered lectures before, inviting Bobbito Garcia and Octavio Lubrano (Industrial Design '93) to speak at CMU. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon in 2009 with a B.S. in Decision Science.
