The Architect, The Innovator & the Dreamer
A University Lecture Series kickoff
Sunday, August 26 | 7 pm, McConomy Auditorium, University Center
Alumni Goil Amornvivat (CFA’96), Josh Debner (CIT’11), Alecia Shipman (Heinz’10)
What do Top Design, integrated multimedia and ice cream have in common? They are literal expressions of a Carnegie Mellon student’s potential. When you love what you do and dare to dream, anything is possible. Be swept up by three Tartan Tales from alumni who were once in your shoes. Get inspired for the first day of class with their stories of creativity and innovation, and the reflections of those whose hearts are so very much “in the work.”
Goil Amornvivat has been a top designer and is just amazing; Josh Debner started project Rwanda and is at Microsoft; Alecia Shipman is local and started Dream Cream Ice Cream as a part of Downtown's Pop Up Pittsburgh project.
