Robbee Baker Kosak

Robbee Baker Kosak, Vice President of University Advancement

Robbee leads the Division of University Advancement which includes five major organizational areas: alumni relations, campaign, corporate & foundation relations, development and marketing/media relations/events. She has served as vice president since 2000, after holding senior advancement positions at a number of institutions, including Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Illinois Institute of Technology and Northwestern University.

Pamela Eager

Pamela Eager, Associate Vice President for Development

Pam leads the development department, oversees the individual giving team and manages relationships with leadership and principal gift donors.  She has been working at the university since 1991, and is an alumna of the university.

Andy Shaindlin

Andrew Shaindlin, Associate Vice President for University Advancement & Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations & Annual Giving

Andy oversees the Offices of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving, and sets the direction for all program areas. He serves as an ex-officio member of and partner to the Alumni Association Board, and as a member of the University Advancement Leadership Team. In addition, he leads the Loyal Scot efforts at Carnegie Mellon.

Lisa Swanson

Lisa Swanson, Director for Advancement Communications

Lisa came to Carnegie Mellon in March 2012 to integrate donor relations, editorial, and event planning staffs assigned specifically to campaign support, to build comprehensive end-of-campaign and post-campaign communications programs for advancement audiences, and to provide ongoing communications counsel to advancement leaders and individual giving officers. She previously held similar positions at Northwestern University and the University of Michigan.

William Swisher

Bill Swisher, Assistant Vice President for Corporate & Institutional Partnerships & Advancement Information Systems

Bill is responsible for setting strategic direction for the office of Corporate and Institutional Partnerships (CIP) and Advancement Information Systems (AIS).

Advancement Information Systems (AIS) provides information and technology solutions to the Advancement Division and advancement professionals throughout Carnegie Mellon. AIS ensures the continued security, integrity, and timeliness of Advancement data and technology, while strengthening our institutional memory and the services surrounding this knowledge.

The CIP team manages existing relationships with corporate partners, and cultivates new relationships on a local and global scale. The focus of the group is to develop new connections between faculty, emerging technology, and corporations and institutions looking for new ways to innovate and enhance their business or organization. Bill has worked at Carnegie Mellon since 2003.
