Examples of Documented Processes from CMU Programs
Schools, departments and programs are at different stages of documenting their program-level assessment processes. The charts below represent effectively documented processes. In each, the outcomes are clear, student centered, measurable, and distinctive to the program. The performance measures clearly map to the program outcomes, allowing program faculty to determine the degree to which students achieve the outcomes. The actions (when stated) directly result from the major findings.
The assessment processes are ongoing and systematic, affirming curricular structures and/or components and resulting in changes when data analysis warrants.
