Inauguration of Dr. Subra Suresh as Our Ninth President

Dr. Subra SureshOne of the world's most distinguished scientists and academic leaders, President Subra Suresh assumed office on July 1, 2013, after serving as the director of the U.S. National Science Foundation.

Following numerous symposia and a campus celebration, the formal investiture ceremony took place on November 15, 2013.

Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt served as the keynote speaker, Tony Award winning alumna Patina Miller performed, and Dr. Suresh delivered the inaugural address. Watch videos on YouTube »

In addition, symposia and discussions have been occurring throughout President Suresh's inaugural year with the theme of "Crossing Boundaries, Transforming Lives."
