Campus-Student Government - Carnegie Mellon University

GSA has five internal committees: Campus Affairs, External Affairs, Social, Finance, and Communications.  Each committee is headed by the respective VPs of GSA.  While GSA department representatives must sit on one of these committees, membership is not limited to just these students.  Any graduate student who is interested in serving on a committee is welcome to join and provide valuable input.  There is no interview or application process to join a committee. Simply email the VP on whose committee you which to sit and you will be added to a distribution list that will inform you of upcoming meetings. If you have any questions concerning GSA commitees, don't hesitate to contact any of the GSA Exec.

Graduate students also serve on a variety of other non-GSA committees at CMU.  Visit the Campus Affairs page to view a list of some of these committees.
