Gina Casalegno, Dean of Student Affairs

The Office of the Dean provides central leadership of the metacurricular experience at Carnegie Mellon, including divisional strategic planning, coordination of student support and crisis intervention, and facilitation of divisional and student life assessment efforts. Departmental staff focus on various programmatic initiatives including academic integrity, multicultural programming, and Qatar-Pittsburgh collaborations. Staff members also serve as housefellows to Morewood Gardens, Doherty Apartments, and Oakland’s Shady Oak and Neville houses communities.

While students are encouraged to seek out any member of the division for assistance, you may also meet with the dean of student affairs directly by calling 412-268-2075 to schedule an appointment at your convenience.
