Postal Services processes incoming and outgoing USPS mail, campus mail for academic departments and students, and receiving of student packages.  Campus undergraduate students are assigned a Student Mail Code (SMC) that corresponds to a mailbox in the campus Post Office located on the lower level of the University Center.  Post Office boxes are available for rent to graduate students, faculty, and staff.  Graduate students may opt to have mail directed to their home department.

Mailboxes are used as the repository for all letter and flat mail, internal campus mail and package pickup notices.  Mail may only be delivered to a mailbox in the legal name assigned to the box and may not be shared.  Please visit http://www.cmu.edu/postoffice/ for additional mail information and policies.
