The University Store provides the campus community with a great selection of supplies and imprinted Carnegie Mellon clothing and gifts which reflect the rich culture and history of the university. The University Store makes every effort to carry the items necessary for student life.
The University Store offers specialized sales areas such as Art Sales, Book Sales, and Computer Sales. Art Sales provides a wide selection of art, architectural and engineering supplies, photographic materials, technical equipment, technical reference books, custom gift baskets and framing/matting services. Book Sales provides textbooks for university courses and a wide variety of trade and technical books. Computer Sales offers personalized attention in determining personal or departmental computing needs and provides peripherals, software, and computer supplies. Additional supplies carried at the University Store include greeting cards, stationery, classroom supplies, writing instruments, dorm life accessories, calendars and posters.
Textbook Buyback occurs multiple times after the end of each semester. The University Store will buy back a variety of textbooks to be used on campus or for various other academic institutions. Signs will be posted across campus with location, dates and times.
The University Store website provides a convenient service that allows students to create a textbook list, complete with pricing information, for their classes each semester. The site also contains an extensive collection of clothing and gift items that can be purchased online and shipped anywhere. The University Store accepts cash, check, departmental charges, PlaidCa$h, and MasterCard and Visa.
