Excessive Noise

Indoor activity that can be heard outside a university building must be confined to the following hours:

• Friday, 4:30pm-midnight;
• Saturday, 4:30pm-midnight;
• All other days, 4:30pm-7pm

Any excessive noise that results in a reasonable complaint from residents within or beyond the campus must be reduced in volume immediately by the student or organization responsible for it, upon notification by a University Police officer or staff member. Failure to meet such a request from a University officer is punishable by an immediate citation and/or disciplinary action. Last revised Spring 1998.
