Fraternity and Sorority Life - Carnegie Mellon University

Welcome to the Greek Life Homepage!

Our team would like to extend our warmest welcome to you as you visit our Web page.

Carnegie Mellon University and the Office of Student Leadership, Involvement, and Civic Engagement (SLICE) recognize the crucial role that fraternities and sororities play in the undergraduate experience of many of our students. Fraternal organizations on campus, individually and collectively, contribute to the experience of students, the university and the greater Pittsburgh community by promoting leadership, fostering academic excellence, participating in community service and facilitating the development of lifelong friendships.

The fraternity and sorority life staff advise and provide resources for the twenty-four social, Greek-letter organizations and governing bodies that comprise the fraternity and sorority community at Carnegie Mellon University. The fraternity and sorority life staff work to provide opportunities that emphasize community engagement and social responsibility while actively supporting the personal and professional development of students.

Our web page is a small snapshot of our community's many goals, events, and achievements. We hope that you get a better sense of our community by browsing our page.
