Professional Competency
Professional competency speaks to a broad set of skills ranging from basic time management skills, to more advanced concepts such as organizational savvy, all of which are necessary for success in professional environments. We provide access to opportunities in which students are able to develop professional ethics and organizational skills through experiential learning. These access points include:
- Campus employment
- Career and/or graduate school consultation
- Leadership opportunities
- Job and internship fairs
- Scholarship and fellowship resources
- Research opportunities
The Career Center also offers an entire listing of Career Success Guides that provide snapshots of important areas related to professional development and academic success.
