About Student Affairs Operations

On behalf of the Division of Student Affairs, the Operations Unit oversees the operations of Conference & Event Services, Dining Services, Housing Services and Jared L. Cohon University Center.

Conference & Event Services is a central resource that manages all aspects of various types of events and conferences. In addition, they are responsible for the coordination of summer campus housing and guest housing during the academic year. Conference & Event Services also serves as the home of the University's distinguished Pre-College program.

Dining Services has partnered with local restaurateurs to offer over 30 dining operations, in various academic and residential buildings. We offer the campus community different cuisines from around the world—ranging from Asian, Indian, Mexican cuisines to Kosher and Halal foods.

Housing Services encompasses 4,000 beds, housing all first-year students and approximately two thirds of the overall undergraduate student body as well as some graduate students.

The Cohon University Center is a 240,000 square feet facility that includes athletic and recreational facilities, performance venues, student organization offices, meeting rooms, dining and a number of administrative offices.
