The StuCo Executive Committee is comprised of the Officers and Members At Large. StuCo is run by this committee along with a Faculty Advisor and an Ex-Oficio Advisor.

Votes: Almost all major decisions relating to StuCo are voted on within the StuCo Committee via majority vote. Only the decision of weather or not to accept a StuCo course proposal is not done this way. The decision of acceptance of a course proposal is made by the majority vote of only the Executive Committee (President, Course Manager, Finance Manager and Public Relations) and the faculty adviser.
Acceptance: All CMU students are elligible to serve StuCo as a General Committee member, automatically. All Executive Committee members (President, Course Manager, Finance Manager and Public Relations) and the faculty adviser must be selected by the current StuCo General Committee by majority vote.
Terms: Executive Committee members serve a 2 semester term. The faculty adviser serves a 4 semester term. General Committee members serve a 1 semester term. People may serve a position for as many terms as they are elected.
Responsibilities:
The President must coordinate the activities of the Committee, such as course selection, and organize and attend all StuCo meetings. The President is also responsible for achieving StuCo's long-term goals.
The Course Manager must deal with CMU throughout the course registration process, making sure proper records are kept, and attend all StuCo meetings. They must maintain the various forms and applications required to teach a course.
The Finance Manager must manage all financial obligations, raise funds when necessary, and attend all StuCo meetings.
The Public Relations Manager must publicize StuCo and the courses we offer, and attend all StuCo meetings.
The faculty adviser must attend all StuCo meetings, attend all necessary CMU UEC meetings, and act as a liason between the two.
The General Committee members must assist the Executives when necessary, interview potential StuCo teachers, perform in-class observations of StuCo courses, and attend all StuCo meetings.
