The Executive Director of The Brownfields Center, Deborah Lange acts as a facilitator between Carnegie Mellon University’s education and research activities and the interests of the brownfield development community, including public and private stakeholders. Dr. Lange has a long history of work in brownfields, including her dissertation which considered the engineering economics of brownfield development.

With an interest in sustainable development projects, Meredith Meyer Grelli joined The Brownfields Center in November 2006. Prior to joining The Brownfields Center, Ms. Meyer Grelli kept bees in an urban apiary on a Chicago brownfield and consulted for a Pittsburgh development firm.
