The Kennywood & Entertainment Discounts Committee plans and organizes the annual staff picnic at Kennywood Park, as well as ticket and membership discounts to various vendors, organizations and entertainment attractions. Discounts are posted on the Staff Council website.

The committee is also responsible for setting the date of the annual Kennywood picnic, making arrangements for prizes, favors and refreshments at the picnic, and for selling Kennywood, SandCastle and Idlewild tickets to CMU staff and faculty.
