New Student Orientation - Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley - Carnegie Mellon University

Orientation

New Student Orientation is geared to welcome and acclimate new students to Carnegie Mellon, their academic program, and to the Silicon Valley.

Prior to Orientation, students are required to attend a pre-orientation conference call which covers topics such as student services, technical resources and campus information. Students are also given a summer reading list which will prepare them for orientation, as well as, their upcoming studies.

During Orientation, new students will receive pertinent information such as their student ID card, Andrew user ID and email accounts, and a comprehensive guide for enrollment.

For newly admitted students, detailed information regarding Orientation will be updated here.  If you have further questions, please feel free to contact Gerry Elizondo at gerry.elizondo@sv.cmu.edu or at 650-335-2846.
