2nd Annual Tech Showcase
In conjunction with the annual alumni barbecue, the Silicon Valley campus held its second Tech Showcase where faculty, researchers and students presented their current research to alumni, friends of the campus and Silicon Valley community.
Twenty-eight research projects were presented and awards were given for Best Demo, Best Poster and Best Project by an external judging committee. Winners included:
- Best Demo: Le T. Nguyen for "ProbIN: Probabilistic Infrastructureless Navigation"
- Best Poster: Shekhar Deo, Manoj Rajshekar, Nishant Menon, and Govindarajan Rajagopalan for "EngageClick"
- Best Project: Paul Maergner for "Web-based Topic Adaptation for Domain-Independent Simultaneous Lecture Translation"
