Mobile Hardware Optimization

The Mobile Hardware Optimization group researches advanced stochastic search algorithms applied to hardware optimization problems. Our ultimate goal is to make mobile devices more compact and use less power than conventional approaches. To this end, we apply our algorithms to antenna and sensor design. And have to date have demonstrated highly efficient X- and S-band antennas and optimized MEMs resonating devices.
