The MS in Software Management offers a full time program that can be 12 months or 16 months. The 16-month program includes an internship, which could be at one of the many software companies located in Silicon Valley.
The MS in Software Engineering and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering full time programs are one year (typically two semesters). The MS in Information Technology is a two-year, bicoastal program.
When do classes meet?

Given that most projects are a team effort, how are individual students graded?

Electrical & Computer Engineering
Part-Time MS Software Management
Applicants to the Software Management program are expected to have five or more years of software-related experience and experience managing one or more technical teams. An undergraduate degree in computer science is not required; however, applicants are expected to be generally familiar with modern object-oriented software development.
Full-Time MS Software Management
To enter the MS SM program you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, information science, information systems, information technology, or a related field, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Programming experience with data structures and an object-oriented programming language
- Entrepreneurial experience preferred
