Michael C. Smith, Software Researcher
Areas of Interest: Software agents, free and open source software Overview: Michael Smith is a Software Researcher at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley. Before joining the staff, he was a software engineer at Hewlett-Packard Company where he most recently worked on HP's worldwide data center re-engineering and consolidation program. Previous efforts at HP include systems to manage the automated resizing of server farms using virtualization and a variety of enterprise-wide application development projects. Michael earned his bachelor's degree in Information Technology at University of Phoenix and obtained his master's degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. |
