Martin Radley, Senior LecturerAreas of Interest: Software management Overview: Martin R. Radley is a Senior Lecturer at Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley and a Certified Project Management Professional. He is an independent consultant and entrepreneur specializing in management solutions, custom development and professional education for organizations addressing software project and portfolio management problems and/or delivering software based products. Martin’s 29-year career in software engineering includes software development, management, project & portfolio management, consulting, training and entrepreneurial experience with major national telecommunications companies, a Fortune 500 conglomerate with 30 operating subsidiaries, and many successful smaller businesses and startups. Frequently retained to turn around “problem projects and personnel,” Martin works with senior management, customers and project teams to align resource, project and portfolio objectives with corporate goals. In addition, Martin has expertise and experience solving complex project/portfolio management, software development, infrastructure, delivery, support, client relationship management, and team-building problems in a variety of client and technology environments. Martin has a B.A. in English Literature from U.C. Santa Barbara, an M.S. in software engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Certificate in Program Management from the University of Denver. |
