Overview

Abraham K. Ishihara received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. and PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University. His research interests include modeling, analysis, and intelligent control of photovoltaic systems; adaptive and optimal control and control of flexible structures. He has published over 60 technical publications in the areas of control theory and photovoltaics and has served as PI on a number of projects funded by DOE, DARPA, NIH, and NASA. He currently teaches courses in optimal control and photovoltaics.
