Safer Cities, Smarter Cities

Abstract

In the future, public safety will take on new dimensions.  As communication technology enables seamless connectivity to all parts of a community, from citizens to all first responders to emergency managers and back to citizens, we will be able to build a safer and smarter city.  We will introduce many of the future technologies that we believe are vital in creating this vision, along with the role of that technology when challenged by a disaster or other events
