Summary: Public safety agencies across the nation have endorsed Long Term Evolution (LTE) as the next frontier for mission critical communications. LTE delivers voice, video and data with the highest capacity and lowest latency in the most spectral efficient manner. In addition to a high-level overview of LTE, this session also covers some of the demands and challenges the public safety community faces today and how the Alcatel Lucent LTE solution helps bridge the gaps and transform mission critical communications in collaborative, converged and optimized way.

About the speaker: Rohit Bhanot is the Director of Public Safety Broadband Solutions for Alcatel Lucent. Rohit has over 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and comes from an extensive consulting and solutions oriented background. In his current position at Alcatel Lucent, Rohit leads the broadband solutions development for Public Safety, specifically LTE and works with public safety agencies across the board to define and tailor an LTE solution that meets the specific needs of the public safety community.
