Description:
All technology jobs have some consulting components. The purpose of this course is to evaluate and improve your consulting skills. Whether you are providing technical services (such as coding, software design, network support), managing a development effort, or participating in your organization’s process improvement efforts, your will find the skills identified and practiced in this course to be useful. Course topics include: evaluating your consulting strengths and opportunities for improvement, leading a client through the typical consulting lifecycle steps, and dealing with common consulting problems. As a final project, you will plan and document a proposed (or actual) consulting assignment.
