21-101 A2: Fractals
We will investigate the construction, properties, and applications of many types of fractals. Students will be expected to participate fully in this course, and will be required to construct fractals during class. We shall concentrate on iterative methods to produce fractals, and will occasionally examine the connection between chaos theory and fractals. Computers will be used to occasionally assist in our rendering of fractals, but no programming experience is required.
