03-101 A3: How Scientists View Molecules
Important features of the molecules and macromolecules found in biology and chemistry can be learned and more fully appreciated by viewing them in an interactive three-dimensional display. In this computer demonstration seminar, we will use some new features of Netscape's Navigator browser to examine the sizes and shapes of molecular structures that are available for viewing on the WWW. Familiarity with WWW browsing and an interest in molecules are the only prerequisites.
