Scholarly Communications Forum
The Scholarly Communications Forum, sponsored by the University Libraries and the Office of the General Counsel, provides events to educate and engage the Carnegie Mellon community in scholarly communications issues. Events are typically webcast live and video recorded for later viewing. Past events have focused on copyright, open access, including open access journals, and the online publication and dissemination of Ph.D. dissertations and Master's theses. Possible topics for future events include alternative metrics and reputation management.
