ESL Instructor

Carnegie Mellon in Rwanda (CMU-R) is seeking a highly-trained, culturally adept professional for the position of English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor.  This role includes providing ESL support for Master’s level students with keen emphasis on English within an academic and professional context; focusing on academic writing, business communication, and identifying and addressing common mistakes in speaking and writing. The instructor will develop and deliver a 5-week ESL course during an orientation period.

Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Certified ESL instructors are preferred.
