The Software Developer Certification

CMU-R hosted a Distinguished Lecture on Thursday 05th September 2013 by Dr Miller who joined Carnegie Mellon's Computer Science Department in 1979 to head the undergraduate programming courses. The lecture will be about "The Software Developer Certification" a credentialing program being developed at Carnegie Mellon University in conjunction with the Kenya Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Board.  Click here for more information

CMU-R hosted a Seminar on Wednesday 28th August 2013 by Mary Beth Wilson, PhD. The Co-Founder of Innovesca and currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, on "Engineering the Microarchitecture of Amaranth Leaves Post-Harvest to Optimize Nutrient Bioavailability." While a multitude of plant species with high food value exists throughout the world, many are not farmed at high capacity, For example, amaranth leaves (Amaranthus spp.) are an underutilized superfood found throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.  Click here for more information

CMU-R was pleased to invite the public to a distinguished lecture on Monday 22nd July 2013 by Profesor Fernando Quevedo, Director of the International Centre of Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste and Professor of Theoretical Physics at Cambridge University on "The Large Hadron Collider (LHC), our Universe and String Theory".
