Carnegie Mellon University has embarked on an exciting opportunity to transform graduate education in Africa. Rwanda is poised to become East Africa's technology hub. However to ensure healthy growth in the nation's ICT sector and overall economy, a well trained workforce is essential. The ICT industry needs leaders who understand the balance between technology, business and innovation.

Addressing this need, Carnegie Mellon University in Rwanda (CMU-R) is offering a Master of Science degree in Information Technology (MSIT) with a multidisciplinary curriculum that strikes a fine balance between technology, business, and innovation, preparing the next generation of IT leaders in East Africa and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MSECE) that provides students with an opportunity for in-depth specialization in aspect of the field.
