The University seeks a new Vice President for Research to support its faculty members and students across the entire campus with a wide range of innovative programs and services designed to translate their emerging ideas into funded projects. Reporting directly to the President, the ideal candidate will be able to engage constructively and collegially in strategic matters extending beyond his/her own portfolio, consistent with the collaborative culture of the institution. The VPR must be able to steward a university-wide strategic planning process for identifying new areas of research and possible sources of funding, and coordinate this plan with the priorities of the Schools and Colleges.
