SPARCS COI

Effective July 15, 2013, an electronic system - SPARCS - will be available for Public Health Service (PHS) Investigators to complete their Finanical Conflict of Interest disclosures.  

Investigators with PHS funding are asked to complete an annual disclosure in SPARCS between July 15, 2013 and August 23, 2013.  SPARCS will also be available for other types of disclosures that are required to meet PHS requirements.

Training on SPARCS

Training sessions are for:

• Researchers who need to file COI disclosures;
• Department administrators who want to check on the status of disclosures. 

Training sessions include:

• Introduction to SPARCS COI;
• How to create and update disclosures;
• How to look-up disclosures;
• Time to create practice or real disclosures;
• For Department Administrators - how to check the status of disclosures in your department.

Researchers can complete their annual disclosures during a training session.

Registration for training sessions is not required but is preferred.  Please register here.  

Upon request ORIC staff will come to departments to hold training sessions.
