Ellen Bachman
is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh studying Electrical Engineering. She is a research intern at Human Engineering Research Laboratories, where she works under the direction of Hongwu Wang and Rory Cooper. Her work focuses on the programming of user interface devices to operate electric powered wheelchairs.
Daniel Vargo
is a senior computer science major from the University of Pittsburgh. My interests are in software engineering and software development. After graduation this year, I am hoping to attend graduate school for computer science. I am a Pittsburgh native, and have lived here all my life. I'm working with Garrett Grindle and Rory Cooper at Human Engineering Research Laboratories.
Veronica Borges
is an nineteen year old, born and raised in Puerto Rico. She is currently studying Computer Science in Carnegie Mellon University. She is working with Amy Hurst and Jennifer Mankoff at the Human Computer Interaction Institute.
