Laurel Person Mecca

Laurel Person Mecca is the Assistant Director and Senior Research Specialist in the Qualitative Data Analysis Program (QDAP) housed at the University of Pittsburgh's University Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR).  As part of her work with QoLT, Laurel has conducted interviews and focus groups to elicit opinions regarding assistive technologies and telehealth and has worked with the Outreach and Education staff to assess QoLT's REU and ELeVATE programs.  Additionally, she has co-authored peer-reviewed articles focusing on assistive technologies and telehealth.  She holds a Master of Arts degree in Geography from Louisiana State University.
