Bambi R. Brewer is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology. She received her Ph.D. from the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University in 2006. Her goal is to use technology, and specifically robotics, to improve the quality of life for individuals with neurological disease or injury. Her current projects include computerized assessment for early detection of Parkinson's disease and the use of visual feedback distortion to improve performance in a robotic rehabilitation environment.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
