Marian D'Amico is the Projects Manager for the Quality of Life Technology Center and a Senior Administrative Associate in the Robotics Institute. She has extensive hands-on experience with administrative tasks ranging from human subject testing and IRB approval processing to events planning, visitor orientation, hiring and visa coordination.
Marian joined Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science in 1989 and has since served SCS in a range of administrative capacities. Most recently, she was the Assistant to the Director of the Human Computer Interaction Institute where she directly supported the work of Dan Siewiorek. Prior to joining CMU, Marian worked as a legal secretary for Eckert Siemans; she is a graduate of the Bradford Business School.
