Human-Computer Interaction Institute
Bilge Mutlu is a PhD student in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie-Mellon University working with Jodi Forlizzi and Jessica Hodgins. His work at the Quality of Life Technology Center involves developing assistive technology for elder users through embedding sensors and actuators in their existing environments to minimize the intrusiveness of high-technology and improve their acceptance of the technology. He has a background in product development with professional focus on domestic appliances. He is a native of Turkey and a former Fulbright scholar.
