Amol M. Karmarkar, MS. received his BS from the Government Medical College, Napur, India, and MS in Rehabilitation Science with concentration in Rehabilitation Physiology from the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. Amol is currently working in the Human Engineering Research Laboratories as a Graduate Student Researcher and a doctoral student at the Department of Rehabilitation Science and Technology at the University of Pittsburgh. His research focus includes assessment of wheelchair-related mobility in older adults and interventions for injury prevention for aging population.
Update March 30, 2010: Amol received his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. He is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
