Katya Hill, Ph.D. CCC-SLP is an internationally recognized speaker in the field of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and evidence-based practice. Her career reflects her mission of improving the quality of life for individuals who rely on AAC by advocating for the most effective communication possible. Dr. Hill is associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh where she teaches and conducts AAC clinical activity. Her involvement in NIH funded research projects has resulted in the development of language activity monitoring and AAC performance measurement tools.
