Sam Clanton is an MD/PhD student in medical school at Pitt and graduate school in the CMU Robotics Institute and Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition. He is working with Dr. Andy Schwartz on cortically controlled prosthetic limbs. He is interested in developing a brain-controlled prosthetic hand ultimately for use by those with spinal cord injury.
