Stuart Anderson is interested in agile control of complex systems. Currently, he is pursuing this interest by studying humanoid locomotion. In particular, he focuses on biomechanical and neurophysiological studies of human locomotion and perturbation response, passive dynamic walking, and data driven control. He is working with a human scale biped robot at CMU and the Human Motion and Balance Lab at the University of Pittsburgh.
