Ashok J. Bharucha, M.D., is a board-certified adult and geriatric psychiatrist. He is an assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and an adjunct assistant professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon. Dr. Bharucha has over 10 years of clinical experience in the long-term care setting, and more recently has been honored with a Career Development Award from the National Institute on Aging to investigate behavioral disturbances of dementia in long-term care settings. Dr. Bharucha completed his residency in adult psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at the University of Washington School of Medicine. In addition to his clinical and research involvement, he has won numerous teaching awards from medical students and psychiatry residents over the years.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
